One of the best new comedies on television, The Office chronicles the inner working of the fictional Pennsylvania paper company Dunder-Mifflin. The name itself refers to the kind of bureaucratic labyrinth by dunderheads administration, and in fact. Unfortunately this is what makes it funny to Bureau scandal of the frightening power of millions of viewers on-screen events. Dunder-Mifflin is mis-managed by the politically-incorrect, borderline crazy Michael Scott (Steve Carell). Use of a warped logic as the basis for policy of the company, replacing the last of clichés for real leadership, and offer an endless array of ever ridiculous group activities to increase morale, "It promotes an environment that white collar world of Dilbert comic strip appears desirable in the comparison.
Carell, one of hot stars of Hollywood, shines in the role of the insane and eccentric office manager, and their talents complemented by Rainn Wilson in the role of Michael Butt-kissing rule Nazi sycophant, Dwight Schrute. Dwight on-the-top antics are often in conflict with the rest of the office, in particular co-worker and office neighbor Jim Halpert (John Krasinski). The unspoken office crush between Jim and PAM Beesley (Jenna Fischer), for an interesting and recurring subplot. The two embody the rest of the Dunder-Mifflin employees to express themselves as logical, well reasoned, and normal individuals, ordinary people involved in bizarro world where bumbling idiots like Michael and Dwight in charge of their working week. Similar in theme to the hilarious movie Office Space, the show provides viewers with boss much more excitable Bill Lumbergh on army of Peter Gibbons as worker bees. For creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen trade, was a first success of the concept in the United Kingdom, is a Surefire rate for laughter, pure unadulterated.
